I beg your pardon Mr NyTimes. If your comment is addressed to moi, let me ask you this: What makes you think I am trying to write like an American? If you find my writing so deep, I’ll take that as a compliment. I thought it was already dumbed down for the likes of you. I’ll keep your advise in mind for next time though and make my writing accommodate those who are not up to scratch with their reading comprehension.

What’s so different about this coming election from the past ones you asked? Obviously, nothing. Hence, through our blogs, we are trying to challenge the voters, at least those who have access to the net, to ask the candidates to lift their game.

Mapapatawad ko pa siya after unfriending me, even when he said I should “get my head checked” after saying Noynoy’s symbolism campaign was similar to how the Nazis did it, but calling me a Bastard on another person’s FB wall was the last straw.

Well, I can’t blame the women who fall for Gibo. I mean, just look at the guy. He’s charming and intelligent (bonus points: good looking too). If there is a candidate that voters should be enamored with, that’s Gibo. But of course, majority of Filipino voters are not really known for their good taste or their capacity to think sensibly It’s either popularity or catchy jingle not credibility (Gordon and Perlas).

For a nation who prays a lot, we are quick to judge someone just by mere association. I guess Gibo can still run again in 6 years when the memory of his alliance with GMA has diminished. He is still young.
