You are all my favorite people on AP, thanks to AP, my life in Japan has become
brighter, you are my intellectual stimulants. . . Hope AP spreads and will eventually
prove to be an effective voice for change in our country. Kudos to all of you.

Just throwing out an idea. How about an AP podcast? Round table discussion. Via Skype.

This type of Podcast requires some level of expertise from the participants.
The way it’s done is everybody is responsible for recording their own audio (generally through audio capture). They then send their audio to the guy who puts the whole thing together.
That would be the biggest hurdle in making this happen. How computer-savvy would the potential participants be?

good idea, is this idea for me? I am just too amateurish with internet technology, bongv should take charge, but I suppose he already has a lot on his plate right now. Only those who are available could join at any given time.

That was for all who want to participate. Round table chat on the same issues we discuss here. Then it can be edited then distributed like via http://www.mediafire.com or gasp ITunes if we can swing it. One only needs a broadband connection from anywhere in the world. Then mic and audio to their computer or Ipod Touch or Iphone or whatever can use Skype.

Just imagine something like this:
http://abcnews.go.com/ThisWeek/video/roundtable-naacp-tea-party-11191580&tab=9482930§ion=1206874&playlist=11191706
but we will do it in audio form.

Well, you could incorporate this idea on Sentro ng Katotohanan, why not invite some AP commenters to be part of the round-table even if they cannot be physically present at the station.
[Reply]
There will be no physical place. It will be cyber space. You just need broadband , Skype , earphones and a mic. You are in Japan correct? As long as we pick a common time nothing is stopping you from being part of it.
A show like this one:

done entirely through Skype. In reality they are in the US, Canada and England.

Why do I have automatic friends? *wonders*

You are right, personally, i can join in discussion of topics that I feel strongly about, re: policy and problem-solving or solutions to pressing problems. I don’t think I will be able to speak, record my opinions and post my opinions on a podcast type of way online. It would be nice to engage others in a round-table type of discussions to bring up important points related to the issue at hand. We need a moderator for this type of discussion. How we should go about doing this I think is first, we need to have a space on AP site for anyone to post a verbal opinion, a detailed one and be willing to act as a moderator when people sign up to join the discussion and then have others sign up for specific time and date to meet on skype. I am familiar with skype, so I can join a skype type of meeting. Why don’t you start on the idea of the leaders in the house asking for the heads of top cabinet members in the N/A administration to start rolling in the aftermath of the most incompetent handling of a bus-high-jacking incident in Manila.

Another idea for podcast round-table discussion would be the solar energy contest that BongV is launching at different schools nationwide.
[Reply]
Solar energy not my strong suit assuming I have one. who else would be in on this chat? I think with 3 or 4 we can make it a go. My proposed format is we agree on 3 topics for the week and just talk. Maybe in the case of this week with the hostage crisis being such a big topic then divide that into 3 sub topics.
You can see what topics I enjoy following here:
